Which Problems Can Instructional Designers Solve - Video Cover Photo

Instructional designers are good for more than "creating courses." In this video, we discuss the types of real-world problems that instructional designers can solve.

Put simply, instructional designers solve gaps in knowledge or skill. Since instructional designers specialize in designing learning solutions, their core responsibility is to bridge these knowledge and skill gaps in a way that's engaging and efficient.

In an organizational context, instructional designers must determine whether the org's performance problems are caused by a gap in knowledge or skill. If they are not, then a learning solution will not be necessary.
