The instructional design field is growing rapidly! More and more opportunities are available in the job market, but the number of instructional designers looking for positions is increasing as well.

Is all of this competition a good thing? We might perceive other’s success as a barrier to our own success, but is that really the case? How can we view the achievements of fellow instructional designers as our own achievements?

In this video, I discuss the scarcity mindset and the abundance mindset. We’ll explore each perspective and the impact that they can have on how we view competition.

If we can identify thoughts that stem from a scarcity mindset, then we can reframe them in a more positive light.

Let’s work together to view our “competitors” as collaborators!
